It is my sad duty to report the passing of Andrew Preston after a long battle with heart problems.
When his health permitted Andrew was a regular combatant at area chess events and loved to play regardless of the outcome. &Jerryhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04529268840124849583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699550860608709665.post-67233885289723451902017-02-22T11:21:00.000-05:002017-02-22T11:21:08.482-05:00Has Anybody Seen This Man?
At the February 21st Club meeting a primary topic of discussion was the where about of Kerry Fatula. Kerry is pictured above in front of Andrew Preston. Approach with caution Kerry may be armed with a chessboard and is an extremely dangerous opponent. If seen please leave a comment below.

I'm just trying to find out if we have any interest in continuing the Second Tuesday Tournament!
As of now, I have no intention of directing it as the most we had play in any event in 2013 was 4 players and on two occasions we only had two players show up! I was there for every tourney, but didn't submit a report to USCF on the 2 months we had only 2 players.
I had the event removed Johnnyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15264900914018422437noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699550860608709665.post-88012433063218420462013-12-19T16:30:00.001-05:002013-12-19T16:30:45.053-05:00The Christmas Open II Is Scheduled For December 28th!
