  2. The only way the Southern Indiana Club will be stronger next match is if they keep bringing players who are not members of their club.
Bring all the ringers you want we will still play and win.

  3. Funny! Maybe it's the irish in you!

Now if we can only get New Albanian Dennis Gogle to unretire...it could happen!

  4. Chess Club of Southern Indiana became a USCF affiliate in December, 2012. We are an open club with a global outreach and a local heart. We are connected on Facebook to clubs, enthusiasts, and grandmasters around the world. Director John Warth is a book review and regular contributor to both our site and for ChessCafe.com. We invite you to check out our Facebook page!

  5. Perhaps my original comment could have been misinterpreted, when I meant stronger I truly meant stronger than WE were before, and not necessarily stronger than your club. We are focussed on getting better for ourselves and being more competitive individually and as a team. We have only managed to tie thus far but that is an improvement. We wanted it to be interesting for our opponent. I wouldn't think either side would want a blow out each time.

But we never know who is going to be able to commit that week, so my statement is really based on the hope that WE will be stronger than WE were before.

I hope no one misunderstood, our main goal is to be competitive and grow the club to a consistent number.

    Good Luck!
