I want to wish everyone out there a Happy Thanksgiving!
Remember that our 2nd Tuesday Tournament on December 10th is our last tournament that will be a qualifier for our 2013 Club Championship. I've noticed that our Club Championship hasn't been updated for several months on our web link, but we will come up with the qualifiers after the 10th of December!

I have updated the 2013 Club Championship page. No matter what happens in December only 4 members have met the revised playoff requirements.

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Jerry's comment dated 8 Oct 13. The Chess club is dead. No members showed up at the Tuesday meetings at the Chinese Buffet to include the last Tuesday in Oct, all Tuesdays in Nov and the first Tuesday in Dec. I was the only member to make an appearance. And I assume that the rest of December there will be no meetings. Also, because of the rule change that Johnny made, he is probably the 2013 Club champion. I don't see anyone being able to best him at the board. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year all club members. Not sure if there will be a club meeting in January 2014.
ReplyDeleteKerry, not that it really matters I showed up a little after seven since I was not eating... we just happened to miss each other. Later Rudy ... Knee replacement went well down point can not drive for six or more weeks. There was more damage to the knee than what the x-ray showed.
