Has Anybody Seen This Man?

At the February 21st Club meeting a primary topic of discussion was the where about of Kerry Fatula. Kerry is pictured above in front of Andrew Preston. Approach with caution Kerry may be armed with a chessboard and is an extremely dangerous opponent. If seen please leave a comment below.
In other conversation, it appears that leaving a comment as to whether a member will attend a meeting or not is too much of a bother and considered an inconvenience. Everything has to be tried at least once.
In light of above I will no longer post meetings ahead of time. Health permitting I will show up for all meetings and bring a chess book in case I am the only attendee.

Posting Comments And Articles

Problems experienced by some in posting comments and articles on the site should be over! A little froggie, pictured above, has solved our problems to include paragraph formatting.

To leave a comment simply click on "comment" at the bottom of the post and choose your option. If you want to post an article; click on "comment" and then click on the red B for blogger at the top left of the screen which takes you to the sign in page. Now click on the pencil picture after Elizabethtown Chess Club to get the next screen to post. If unable to post, contact Ernie or Jerry so they can reissue an invite. Invites expire if you don't post something in a reasonable time frame. As far as I can tell once you have posted you won't need another invite ever.

Valentine's Day Is Better With Chess

The Family Buffet is featuring a sea food blow out for Valentine's Day. Treat your significant other to a sea food feast followed by a game of chess. After all if they are your valentine then you are theirs.

Meeting 7 February

The Club is down but not out. We need to build membership again, any ideas would be appreciated.
Newest member, Glenn Johnson, showed up as well as myself (Jerry) and we played a couple of game 30's.
